Scott Cherry could be among the most talked-about former Tar Heels this winter and perhaps even next spring, as the hiring-and-firing season begins anew. The Carolina and Dean Smith connections could really pay off at this point in his career. The High Point Panthers feature the Big South Conference's best player and have won three consecutive regular-season titles.
