UNC, State, Wake players selected to new postseason all-star game

Representatives from UNC, N.C. State and Wake Forest are among the first group of players accepting invitations to play in the inaugural Tropic Bowl, a new college football all-star game to be played in North Miami Beach on Jan. 17. Justin Thomason will represent the Tar Heels. Thomason, a 6-foot-4, 295-pound defensive tackle, contributed to UNC’s amazing defensive turnaround with 35 tackles.
