King Rice soars with rising Monmouth basketball team

King Rice has gone from a guy who couldn’t get a shot at a head coaching job because of his past mistakes to the leader of the program that has been the talk of college basketball. Rice, who turned 47 earlier this month, has made Monmouth’s men’s basketball team a giant slayer in NCAA Division I, and given the school a nationally recognized program in less than five full seasons.
