Brice Johnson lighting it up for UNC

Former Edisto star Brice Johnson could not be blamed if he did not want any break from the game — even for Christmas. On Monday night he stayed hot, scoring 22 points to help No. 7 North Carolina beat Appalachian State 94-70. Johnson, who established a career high for scoring in North Carolina's previous two games, scored at least 22 points for the third straight game. (Orangeburg Times & Democrat)
