The scene has now become typical at the 2,000-seat East Gym of Loyola Academy, a 98-year-old Jesuit high school in Chicago's north suburbs. Michael Jordan, perhaps the most famous basketball dad in the world, sits on the edge of a stage at one end of the court, watching his sons play varsity basketball as stoically as any parent in the building.
