Tar Heels polish off UNCG in final tuneup

The last non-conference game of the season for the North Carolina men’s basketball team wasn’t without challenges, with UNC Greensboro coming within 11 points twice of what had been a commanding lead. But in this last chance for fine tuning, the Tar Heels pulled away with authority for a 96-63 victory Monday night at the Smith Center. (Burlington Times News)
