Roy Williams decided to go with a smaller lineup about eight minutes in. “Brice wasn’t having the best night in the world. Joel (James) wasn’t having the best night, “ Williams noted, “So we decided to go small.” Although this tactical change was dictated by lackluster defense on the interior, putting more quickness on the floor transformed the complexion of the game.
