Standing in front of the room, Butch Davis welcomes the chance to bring them up to date on what's been going on behind the scenes: recruiting, the hiring of five assistant coaches, his efforts to get out the word that there's a new morning for UNC football. "The University of North Carolina has an awesome potential to do what the University of Florida did," he says, referring to the Gators' national championships in both football and basketball.
