Yates ready to shoulder UNC's QB load

T.J. Yates was happy to be back on a football field Friday, even if it was just for practice. But although Yates enjoyed the start of North Carolina’s preseason drills, he’s looking forward even more to Sunday. That’s when North Carolina’s sophomore quarterback will throw a football for the first time with pads on since undergoing surgery on his right shoulder last December. (Fayetteville Observer)
