Duke's Krzyzewski: I was in Tar Heels' corner for Arizona game

Posted Jan 29, 2007

You'll never catch Mike Krzyzewski carrying North Carolina blue pompons or get him to put a decal on his car of a foot with a bit of tar on the heel. But Krzyzewski said Sunday that he was pulling for North Carolina and Roy Williams when the Tar Heels dismantled Arizona 92-64. "People might not think this, but I was cheering like crazy for Roy," Krzyzewski said Sunday. "That win over Arizona was huge for our league." (Charlotte Observer)
