Chapel Hill sees losses in young professionals

There are fewer young professionals between the ages of 20 and 34 in Chapel Hill compared to in Durham and Raleigh, likely because of two major factors — affordable housing and limited job opportunities. According to the last U.S. Census, only 7.5 percent of Chapel Hill’s population is comprised of non-student residents between 25 and 34 years old. (Daily Tar Heel)
