It was years ago, back when Ed Davis was in 8th grade, but he still remembers the day that changed his basketball career. “Will never forget it,’’ the Trail Blazers’ big man says. He was in Orlando, at a National AAU Under-14 Tournament with the Richmond Squires, and the team was back at a rental house after it was eliminated.
