Former athletic greats from Flint shocked by water crisis

The decreasing population of Flint, which has produced standout and professional athletes in bulk, has been impacted recently by a water crisis. Faucets have been flowing with yellow- and rust-colored water, much of which is contaminated with lead. Exposure to lead can cause developmental problems in children, loss of appetite, vomiting, high blood pressure, brain damage and miscarriages. Current and former Flint residents have had enough, especially the athletes.
