Jim Delany to receive lifetime achievement award from Basketball Hall of Fame

Jim Delany will receive the Basketball Hall of Fame’s 2016 John W. Bunn Lifetime Achievement Award. Aside from enshrinement, this award is considered the highest honor to receive....Delany has more than 40 years in athletic administration. He played for North Carolina under the great Dean Smith and was also the former Vice-President of USA Basketball. Delany has been the Big 10’s commissioner for the last 26 years.
