ESPN segment fuels Tar Heels' defensive effort against Pittsburgh

“[ESPN's criticism of us] was warranted,” Tar Heels guard Marcus Paige said. “But to see that on national TV and know that we’re so much better than we showed there, and then they turn around and show Virginia playing exactly the type of defense we want to play, it kind of motivated us. It was like ‘Dang, we’ve got to right the ship here. We’re better than this.’”
