Duke hires Nolan Smith to staff as special assistant

Duke has added former Blue Devils guard Nolan Smith to its coaching staff. Coach Mike Krzyzewski on Monday announced Smith's hiring as a special assistant. Smith and current assistant Jon Scheyer were the starting guards on Duke's 2010 team. Smith will assist in developing game strategies, analyzing film, planning practices and taking part in staff meetings.
