Coach Roy Williams was worried and No. 8 North Carolina wobbled at times Monday night. But the Tar Heels pursued offensive rebounds with a fierceness and they were able to withstand Syracuse in a 75-70 victory in the home finale at the Smith Center. “I don’t know if I ever felt as much stress about a regular-season game as I did (this game),” Williams said.
