Jerod Haase named Conference USA Coach of the Year

UAB basketball coach and former UNC assistant Jerod Haase was named the 2016 Conference USA Coach of the Year, the league announced Wednesday. Haase led the Blazers to school records (26-5 overall and 16-2 in league play), giving UAB its first regular-season title since 2011. The Blazers were also a perfect 16-0 at Bartow Arena this season.
