Providence's Jeff Battle familiar with North Carolina

When Providence's name appeared in a Raleigh bracket near the East regional's top seed Sunday night, head coach Ed Cooley made an immediate scouting assignment for assistant Jeff Battle. "You've got Carolina," Cooley said.Battle, who has close family ties to Fayetteville, is well-versed in breaking down the Tar Heels.
