Roy Williams' call to go small delivers UNC win over Providence

North Carolina coach Roy Williams doesn’t like to stray from the formula he’s known to work all these years, and that includes tinkering with a traditional lineup. In other words, Ol’ Roy isn’t very big on going small. Yet that’s exactly what was necessary in the Tar Heels' 85-66 NCAA tournament win on Saturday over Providence, especially in the first half.
