Deciding burst: Tar Heels run into Sweet 16 by defeating Providence

Top-seeded UNC took control of its second-round matchup with Providence in the second half for an 85-66 victory Saturday, punching its ticket to a Sweet 16 matchup against Indiana on Friday in Philadelphia. The Tar Heels broke open a 41-41 deadlock with a 9-0 spurt that, in the grander picture, was a 33-13 run across 11 1/2 minutes of the second half.
