The high-scoring Tar Heels have won seven straight on the strength of their defense. A commitment to consistent intensity will continue to carry them a long way. “That's how we got where we are today,” Theo Pinson said. “We've just go to make sure we can do that for the rest of this tournament.” They'll get their chance next weekend in Philadelphia.
