Pitt's Jamie Dixon accepts job as TCU's next basketball coach

TCU has hired Pitt's Jamie Dixon as its next coach, sources told CBS Sports on Monday. An official announcement is expected soon. CBS Sports' Gary Parrish also confirmed the report. Dixon played at TCU from 1984-87. The 50-year-old coach has led the Panthers to 11 NCAA Tournament appearances in 13 years at Pitt. He replaces Trent Johnson, who was fired on March 13.
