Butch Davis has made an impressive debut as the North Carolina football coach. Just the people he has assembled for his staff justify confidence in his decisions. John Blake left Nebraska to join his old friend and mentor at UNC. Chuck Pagano and John Shoop left the National Football League. Charlie Williams left Arizona to come here, but he has also coached in the NFL. (Chapel Hill News)
