First-team All-America forward Brice Johnson scored 20 points and pulled down 10 rebounds. It was his 22nd double-double of the season. That ties the most double-doubles in UNC single-season history with Billy Cunningham, who had 22 in 1964. Marcus Paige made a season-high six three-pointers and tied the UNC record for most three-pointers in an NCAA Tournament.
