UNC’s depth showed up in certain key stretches during its 88-74 defeat of Notre Dame in the East Regional final Sunday. Perhaps none of those supporting contributions proved timelier than Kennedy Meeks’ eight straight points out of the halftime gate, a personal run of four buckets in the first 4:12 of the second half that pushed the Tar Heels ahead 51-40.
