New Stanford basketball coach Jerod Haase realizes a dream

Jerod Haase wanted to play for Stanford while growing up in South Lake Tahoe, but, like many recruitments, it didn't work out. A quarter century later, Haase is finally a part of Cardinal basketball: He's the 18th head coach in school history. "I never got that final offer," he said Monday with a slight smile. But Haase never forgot the process.
