Paths cross again at UNC

Butch Davis has hired five assistants since he was introduced as coach on Nov. 27, but he said Wednesday he is taking his time to complete his staff of nine coaches because "it's more important to get it right than to get it done." He said he still hasn't decided whether he will retain the three assistants left on staff from the John Bunting era: Ken Browning, Marvin Sanders and Tommy Thigpen.
