Not so surprising was Butch Davis' delivery about all the positives he's surrounded by in his cozy corner at the Kenan Football Center. Davis said North Carolina already has exceeded his expectations about the potential for success. Naturally, you've listened to similar phrases from previous UNC coaches about how legend has it that this is a sleeping giant operating in the shadow of its more-famous basketball program.
