Butch Davis: No decision on 3 remaining coaches

North Carolina football coach Butch Davis said Wednesday he has not decided whether to retain Marvin Sanders, Ken Browning and Tommy Thigpen, three of former coach John Bunting's assistants who remain on staff. Davis, who has hired five assistants so far, reiterated that it's more important to hire the correct staff than to hire a quick one. (Raleigh News & Observer)
