Roy Williams' suggestion to Dean Smith -- and it worked

Roy Williams remembers his first Final Four trip with UNC, and coach Dean Smith's "whole philosophy was to keep everybody away." That was 1981, Williams' third season on Smith's staff. The Tar Heels were playing in Philadelphia, and stayed "on the other side of Villanova." They beat Virginia in the national semifinal game but lost to Indiana in the championship game.
