UNC’s Isaiah Hicks tried get his hand up and disrupt the decisive shot, but he got there too late. “I saw Ryan come off the screen, so I tried to help Joel just in case. Next thing you know Jenkins comes in. It was my man. I completely forgot about him worrying about Ryan.” Hicks said he hoped the shot wouldn’t go in. His coach knew that wouldn’t happen.
