Michael Jordan sat in the stands behind the Tar Heels bench during the game. After Kris Jenkins’ buzzer-beating 3-pointer sent his alma mater to a heart-breaking 77-74 loss to Villanova, Jordan paid a visit to the locker room to console the disappointed team. “He just said he’s proud of us and he’s proud to be a Tar Heel,” senior forward Brice Johnson said.
