Wayne Ellington A Finalist For Community Service Award

When police rushed to the scene of a crime on November 9th, 2014 in Philadelphia, Wayne Ellington didn’t know that his life would forever be changed. His father was the victim in of a shooting that occurred after a traffic collision. Though he was mourning the loss of his father, Ellington chose to use his platform as a professional basketball player to curb gun violence.
