Mitch Trubisky Named UNC's Starting Quarterback

UNC coach Larry Fedora has officially named Mitch Trubisky the starting quarterback for the Tar Heels season opener vs Georgia in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game on Sept 3. A junior from Mentor, Ohio, Trubisky won the battle this spring to replace record-setting signal caller Marquise Williams who graduated in December. "He worked extremely hard and earned it," said Fedora.
