Adam Warren moves up in Cubs' pitching pecking order

Injuries and doubleheaders could necessitate the need for a sixth starter, but the Cubs have yet to encounter that situation. Nevertheless, there’s a slight changing of the guard as to who would assume that role. Adam Warren, who pitched two perfect innings Tuesday night, has moved ahead of that role should a situation arise where the Cubs need another starter. (Chicago Tribune)
