UNC an anomaly in college basketball's transfer climate
Posted May 2, 2016
Roughly two players per Division I team are transferring each year. Since Roy Williams returned to his alma mater before the 2003-04 season, the Tar Heels' only transfers are California natives Alex Stepheson, David Wear, Travis Wear and Larry Drew. Add in four transfers at Kansas, and Williams has had just eight in 28 seasons as a head coach.
