Brandan Wright Named ACC Rookie Of The Week

Virginia's Sean Singletary and Duke's Josh McRoberts were named as Co-ACC Players of the Week, while North Carolina's Brandan Wright was tabbed ACC Rookie of the Week. In earning the league's rookie award for the fourth time this season, Wright averaged 17.5 points and 6.5 rebounds and hit on 16-of-19 from the floor (.842) as the second-ranked Tar Heels posted wins over Rutgers and Dayton.
