Texas center Marques Bolden keeps college hoops powerhouses waiting

This time last year, the most talked about basketball player from DeSoto (Texas) High School was Duke guard Matt Jones. As a sophomore, he’d been a starter on a Blue Devils squad that had just claimed a national title. Marques Bolden was a rising senior at DeSoto and one of Jones’ former teammates. Last summer, he told me he remembered Jones coming home for a whirlwind victory tour with his old friends.
