Davis Love III trying to balance Ryder Cup and playing

III tried his best to separate his Ryder Cup captain duties from his playing in the Wells Fargo Championship. It’s been tough to do. Love, 52, never did get his game going on the longish, wet Quail Hollow layout and missed the cut. During his run-up to playing here he expected plenty of questions about the Ryder Cup, and that’s what he got. (Winston-Salem Journal)
