A.J. Bogucki worked 4.1 scoreless innings of relief and Tyler Ramirez hit his team-leading eighth home run of the season as No. 20 North Carolina beat East Carolina 9-1 Tuesday night at Boshamer Stadium. Logan Warmoth and Brandon Riley had three hits each for the Tar Heels, who swept the season series from the Pirates and outscored them 26-5 in the process.
