Roy Williams prepares for knee replacement surgery

North Carolina basketball coach Roy Williams will have knee replacement surgery on his right knee later this month, but he has not decided if he will have his left knee replaced, the school announced Thursday. Williams, 65, had surgical procedures on both knees last summer and walked with a painful-looking limp throughout the 2015-16 season.
