Tar Heels hoping for 2005 form in the new year


As the calendar turns to 2007, the North Carolina men’s basketball team hopes to move things back to 2005. At least two former Tar Heels think it’s possible. Second-ranked North Carolina continued a dominating non-conference stretch Sunday afternoon by beating Dayton 81-51 for its ninth consecutive victory, furthering talk that coach ’ fourth team could duplicate the accomplishments of his 2005 team.
