Six-Run Sixth Inning Propels UNC Softball To Quarterfinal Victory

UNC junior Kendra Lynch twirled a four-hit gem then scored the game-winning run to kick off a six-run sixth inning as the Tar Heels defeated Boston College, 6-0, in the Quarterfinals of the 2016 ACC Softball Championship on Thursday. UNC (31-22) advances to play top-seeded No. 6 Florida State on Friday, May 13, at 1 p.m., in the first ACC Semifinal game.
