North Carolina’s red-hot basketball team completed an undefeated December with its ninth straight win, while kicking off the New Year by hoisting three new jerseys to the Smith Center rafters. The ’05 NCAA championship nucleus of Raymond Felton, Sean May and Rashad McCants was honored at halftime of the Tar Heels’ 81-51 triumph over Dayton. (Inside Carolina)
