Third-seeded North Carolina beat sixth seeded Notre Dame, 10-6, in an NCAA Women’s Lacrosse Tournament quarterfinal on Saturday at Fetzer Field. UNC advances next Friday’s NCAA semifinal in Chester, Pa., to face Penn State, which beat Penn earlier on Saturday. The Tar Heels advance to the NCAA semifinals for the sixth time in the last eight years. (GoHeels.com)
