Hello, Championship Weekend: UNC Men's Lacrosse Whips #3 Irish

Led by a 14-save performance by Brian Balkam and four goals by Steve Pontrello UNC defeated #3 seed Notre Dame Sunday in the NCAA Men's Lacrosse quarterfinals at Ohio Stadium. With the win the Tar Heels advance to the NCAA semifinals in Philadelphia next Saturday. It is UNC's first trip to the Championship Weekend for men's lacrosse since 1993.
