This wouldn’t have happened a month ago, Chris Cloutier admits. The way the North Carolina sophomore lefty attackman imposed his size. The way he found the corners of the net. The patience he displayed in stepping and waiting, and stepping and waiting, and stepping and waiting again through waves of defenders, before finally finding that sliver of space to score a historic goal.
