Freshman class already makes its mark in ACC

North Carolina freshman basketball player Brandan Wright reminds some people of a young Kevin Garnett. To others, his 7-foot-4 wingspan and silky left-handed moves evoke another long-armed lefty -- former Tar Heels great Sam Perkins. Either way, at 6-feet-9 and 205 pounds, Wright oozes the type of potential that likely would have made him a lottery pick in last June's NBA draft.
