Jackson Simmons Named to Jackson County Athletic Hall of Fame

The Jackson County Athletic Hall of Fame class of 2016 includes Cindi Simmons and Jackson Simmons. Jackson Simmons, graduated in 2011 from Smoky Mountain, where he set the state high school record for career rebounds (1,544). He played basketball four years at North Carolina and is now a graduate assistant coach at UNC-Charlotte. (Sylva Herald)
